About a month ago I posted here about my diagnosis of Type 2 Diabetes. I was quite discouraged by the comments of my doctor, and even in my second appointment she tried to discredit my weight loss by using the Diabetes as the explanation. I've since changed my Primary Care doctor.
For the past 4 months I have been eating at a 1000 calorie deficit(2400cal/day), that combined with my daily exercise has led to some serious weight shedding. I'm sure a good portion of the 18 pounds I've lost this month has been water weight, but none the less, it is progress. It feels good to be making a real effort, and I hope all of you are making some killer progress as well.
