As we’ve discussed here before, rabies is a disease straight from the bowels of Hell. It affects the body’s central nervous system, and it’s almost always deadly if people do not seek medical treatment immediately. One of the most terrifying things about rabies is that its incubation period is unpredictable. Sometimes you exhibit symptoms in a few days, and other times it can take years before you know you have it. By then, it’s usually too late.

When symptoms express themselves, physicians can do little more than make patients comfortable. The final days are extremely painful. The following interview with a rabies victim nearing the end of his life is heartbreaking and terrifying.

If you ever find yourself in the midst of an animal attack, do yourself a favor and consult a physician immediately afterward. When it comes to fighting rabies, every second counts.

Most people associate catfish with either really good fishing or really good eating. These delicious creatures never seem to have a care in the world. If you judge them by their appearance, they look like they’d rather float along lazily in the water than fight to the death over a meal.

Well, apparently this laid-back perception is dead wrong. Catfish aren’t just aggressive — they’re cannibalistic. Check out the madness in the video below.

I can totally understand why that catfish ate the other one. Catfish is delicious, and I don’t think anyone would argue with me about that. Still, if you’re sharing a tank together, that’s a pretty evil move.
