Mosha the elephant was only a baby when her life became much more painful and difficult.

When she was two years old, she stepped on a land mine near the Thai-Burma border. She lost most of her front leg. After that, it seemed impossible for her to live a normal life, but a kindhearted doctor in Lampang, Thailand, stepped in and changed all of that for her.

Upon hearing about Mosha’s unfortunate accident, Dr. Therdchai Jivacate, an orthopedic surgeon, wanted to do something to help her. No prosthetics existed at the time for elephants, so Jivacate decided to create one himself. Now, 15 years later, the grateful elephant makes it perfectly clear how she feels about her amazing doctor.

I hope you brought your tissues, people.

This guy is simply inspiring. If I ever get to help animals even half as much as he does, then I’ll die a very happy person.

The lengths our friends at the Wildlife Aid Foundation will go to in order to save an animal in need never cease to amaze me.

When a baby kestrel fell out of its nest at the top of an enormous tree, Simon and his pals had to call in a highly trained climber so that the baby bird could be returned safely to it’s treetop home. It was a dangerous challenge, but as you’ll see in the video, it was all worth it in the end.

I just love seeing how much some people care about animals. So much effort for one tiny little bird, now that’s what I call dedication. Good job, guys!
